🖥️  STARTING A DESKTOP SESSION (Claude Chat / Cowork)
Before you type anything, add a context signpost:

  • Unsure of the domain? Just say what you need. Claude should read CLAUDE.md and infer. A signpost saves time and prevents misfires.
  • Claude ignoring the vault? Say: "Did you read CLAUDE.md?" — it's instructed to read it at session start, every time.
📱  STARTING A MOBILE SESSION (Claude App)
⚠️ The vault is NOT accessible from mobile. Claude cannot read your Second Brain files.
  • 1. Quick questions / thinking out loud: Just chat normally. Claude has your memory (userMemories) for basic context.
  • 2. Vault-worthy content: Ask Claude to create a vault-ingest task in ClickUp:
List: Routine Tasks (146437709) Title: "Vault Ingest: {description}" Tag: vault-ingest Description: Full markdown content, incl. target filename & folder
"Create a vault-ingest task for this — it should go into Context/ as an update to empire-build.md"
  • 3. Cowork sweeps: During next desktop session, tasks tagged vault-ingest get processed into the vault and closed.
💡 Mobile = capture & quick thinking.   Desktop = deep work.   Don't do vault-level work from your phone.

👤 YOUR SIDE (Lee)

  • 📌 Signpost the context domain at session start
  • 🥊 Challenge Claude if it doesn't reference the vault
  • 📱 Use vault-ingest protocol on mobile
  • 🚫 Don't author specs in ClickUp — vault only!
  • 🔄 Keep MOCs updated (or ask Cowork to)

🤖 CLAUDE'S SIDE

  • 📖 Read CLAUDE.md first, every session
  • 📂 Load relevant MOC and Context files
  • 🕵️ Look for specs in vault, not ClickUp docs
  • ⚙️ Use ClickUp for task lookups only
  • 🛑 When vault unreachable, say so openly

🚨  EMERGENCY SHORTCUTS
  • ❓ Lost context mid-session? → "Read Context/empire-build.md and tell me what's current"
  • 🏃 On mobile, need to capture? → "Vault-ingest this to [filename] in [folder]"
  • ⛷️ Claude going off-piste? → "Stop. Read CLAUDE.md. What does the task routing table say for this domain?"
  • 🤷 Can't find something? → "Check the relevant MOC for [domain]" (once MOCs are built)
